Patient’s Dental Concerns: Lizza felt embarrassed by the appearance of her upper front teeth. Damaged by acid erosion, her front teeth appeared short and discolored. She was also unhappy with her gummy-smile.
Cosmetic Makeover Plan: Our cosmetic team at West Ashley Family Dentistry combined restorative and cosmetic treatments to enhance Lizza’s smile. Lizza received 8 all-ceramic dental crowns on her upper front teeth. Her dental crowns are made from high quality dental ceramic and were custom designed to fit her smile. Lizza also opted to have a gum repositioning surgery, adding length to her teeth for a more balanced gum to tooth ratio.

When Natalie came to West Ashley Family Dentistry she was seeking a second opinion on how to improve her smile. Natalie wanted a more conservative cosmetic treatment plan that would address her underlying oral health concerns and improve her smile.
Patient’s Dental Concerns: Natalie was unhappy with the discoloration on her front two teeth. Natalie’s discoloration was caused by decay.
Cosmetic Makeover Plan: We initially removed all of the decayed tissue from the front teeth. The decayed teeth were sealed with a white dental filling to prevent further damage and to secure a healthy oral foundation. Then, the teeth were capped using two ceramic dental crowns. The dental crowns were custom designed to blend seamlessly with her adjacent teeth, leaving Natalie with a healthy and naturally beautiful smile.
